Job summary

Swoon is seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Topology Analyst to optimize an end-to-end logistics network across manufacturing, distribution centers, warehouses, and transportation providers. The role focuses on data analysis, network modeling, and scenario planning to improve cost, service, capacity, lead times, and resilience.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate analytical assumptions and translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, network planning, network optimization, or supply chain analytics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience analyzing logistics or supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, capacity constraints, or optimization opportunities.
• Understanding of supply chain network concepts, including distribution networks, transportation flows, facilities, capacity, lead times, and service levels.
• Ability to build structured analyses and translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Strong Excel skills for complex data manipulation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple analyses or workstreams simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain and logistics networks, including plants, DCs, warehouses, lanes, and providers.
• Develop understanding of current-state topology, material flows, routes, capacity constraints, and dependencies.
• Use quantitative analysis to identify opportunities to optimize cost, service, capacity, lead times, and resilience.
• Support development and evaluation of future-state network scenarios and changes to facilities, flows, sourcing, and distribution.
• Build data-driven analyses and business cases to quantify impact of proposed changes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and validate assumptions.
• Translate analytical findings into clear presentations, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
• Support what-if analyses related to demand, capacity, facilities, transportation, or growth.
• Monitor KPIs and identify areas requiring further analysis or optimization.
• Document assumptions, methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost efficiency and resilience.

Because this role supports a global supply chain organization, Monday–Wednesday have earlier start times. The highest volume period for global support is generally 6:30 AM–11:00 AM, so candidates should be comfortable being available during these hours on those days.

About the Role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Topology Analyst to support the evaluation, design, and optimization of an end-to-end logistics network spanning manufacturing sites, distribution centers, warehouses, transportation providers, and other supply chain nodes.

In this role, you will use data analysis, supply chain modeling, and network optimization techniques to evaluate how products and materials move through the network and identify opportunities to improve cost, service levels, capacity utilization, resilience, and overall network performance.

You will work with cross-functional teams across supply chain, logistics, operations, transportation, and other business functions to analyze the current-state network, identify gaps and opportunities, and support the development of future-state network designs. This is an analytical role that requires someone who can take complex data and translate it into clear, actionable business recommendations.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and evaluate end-to-end supply chain and logistics networks, including manufacturing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, transportation lanes, and logistics providers.
• Develop a detailed understanding of current-state network topology, material flows, transportation routes, capacity constraints, and operational dependencies.
• Use quantitative analysis and modeling to identify opportunities to optimize cost, service, capacity, lead times, inventory positioning, and network resilience.
• Support the development and evaluation of future-state network scenarios, including potential changes to facilities, transportation flows, sourcing strategies, and distribution models.
• Build data-driven analyses and business cases to quantify the operational and financial impact of proposed network changes.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with supply chain, logistics, transportation, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and validate analytical assumptions.
• Translate analytical findings into clear presentations, recommendations, and decision-support materials for business stakeholders.
• Support network modeling, scenario analysis, and what-if exercises related to changes in demand, capacity, facilities, transportation or business growth.
• Monitor key network performance indicators and help identify areas requiring further analysis or optimization.
• Document assumptions, methodologies, findings, and recommendations in a clear and repeatable manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost efficiency, service performance, scalability, sustainability, and supply chain resilience.
