Job summary

CompTech is a service-oriented program management and technical company, headquartered in Dayton, OH, providing mission-critical network engineering and operational support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This role requires an active Top Secret clearance and dual certifications, and it is a Third Shift, onsite position in Dayton, OH or Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in network operations experience. Higher education or qualifying military service may be substituted for the two-year requirement.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, voice, and wireless networks.
• Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work Third Shift/overnight hours with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and engineering support for enterprise LAN/WAN, wired, wireless, and telecommunications network environments.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to support reliable voice and data services.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and availability issues and assist in identifying root causes.
• Support the engineering, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of network hardware and software.
• Analyze network issues and work across infrastructure components to isolate faults and restore services.
• Support network changes, upgrades, maintenance activities, and technology refresh efforts.
• Assist with maintaining the technical integrity and configuration baseline of the network environment throughout its lifecycle.
• Coordinate with network engineers, operations personnel, technical teams, and other stakeholders to resolve incidents and maintain service availability.
