Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks an on-site security professional for Special Programs. You will execute Security Compliance, Industrial and Physical Security, ICD directives, and manage assets in a secure environment.

Responsibilities include preparing SOPs, EAPs, security plans; handling PARs/VARs, visitor management, and safeguarding classified material. You will interact with DoD and government representatives, provide briefings, and support IA/IT security processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; preferred AS degree or higher.
• Experience in security field with ability to work in secure environments.
• Ability to pass CI polygraph and obtain SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Execute security compliance responsibilities under industrial security management.
• Develop SOPs, EAPs, security transportation and test plans.
• Process PARs and VARs; manage visitor badges and clearances.
• Interact with DoD and government representatives on safeguarding classified material.
• Support IA/IT security processes and conduct annual inventories.
