Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex government IT initiatives from planning through delivery in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while interfacing with government stakeholders, contractor leadership, and technical staff.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, managing WBS and resource plans, coordinating across cybersecurity, cloud, and software teams, and ensuring compliance with security

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years IT project management experience, including federal programs.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects with cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong understanding of PM principles, risk, scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with software development, cloud migration, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of IT projects supporting mission operations.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules, WBS, and resource plans.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and performance metrics per contract.
• Coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, software, and operations teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; provide status updates to government stakeholders.
• Facilitate IPT meetings and executive briefings; track KPIs and earned value.
• Ensure compliance with federal security policies and quality standards.
• Support Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project management methodologies.
