Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. seeks a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to create high-fidelity models of radar physics, signal propagation, and sensor performance.

You will develop simulations of electromagnetic wave behavior and analyze complex data sets to communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role requires a DoD Top Secret clearance and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong MATLAB skills and experience in radar or sensor data analysis.

Qualifications

• DoD Top Secret clearance required at time of hire.
• 5+ years' experience in modeling, simulation, radar, or sensor domains.
• Proficient with MATLAB for modeling and data analysis.
• Experience analyzing radar or sensor data sets and presenting results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain physics-based models of radar wave propagation and target interactions.
• Build high-fidelity target and scene models for radar performance assessments.
• Design and evaluate radar signal processing algorithms including Doppler processing and waveform modeling.
• Create kinematic models from flight profiles or mission scenarios.
• Develop models for platforms and sensors (radar, RF payloads, EO/IR).
• Run simulations to assess detection performance, false alarms, tracking accuracy, and environmental sensitivity.
• Analyze large data sets to derive trends and performance metrics.
