Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• 2+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with automation tools such as Rundeck, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Windows Server administration experience.
• Kubernetes administration certifications (CKA/CKAD).
• Security+, RHCSA, RHCE, CISSP, or similar certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and sustain OpenShift infrastructure.
• Act as technical escalation point during deployments and incidents.
• Drive root cause analysis and restore system functionality.

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer, DevOps Engineer to support a high-impact space and defense program within a classified environment. This individual will play a critical role in deploying, configuring, and sustaining OpenShift infrastructure while ensuring reliability, security, and integration with mission-driven applications. Day to day, this person will be hands-on with OpenShift platform operations, Linux administration, deployment automation, incident response, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues across compute, networking, storage, and platform services. They will serve as a technical escalation point during deployments and operational events, driving root cause analysis, restoring system functionality, and partnering closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and program teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments, enjoys ownership of critical systems, and can confidently lead technical efforts while collaborating across multiple stakeholders.

This is a full time onsite in Littleton, CO or King of Prussia, PA with a pay range of $120,000 - $135,000
