Job summary

Insight Global in Boulder, CO is seeking a qualified Linux System Administrator to support a DoD program. This role requires an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and involves maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, virtualization (VMware/VSphere) and container technologies (Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).

You will coordinate with network teams, assist with patching, backups, and system upgrades, and help implement security policies.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–9 years of experience.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• VMware/VSphere virtualization experience.
• Container tech: Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
• Basic networking hardware configuration.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or DoD 8570.01-M cert.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multi-user Linux systems and coordinate with network admins.
• Install, troubleshoot, patch, and maintain virtualized Linux environments.
• Develop and monitor resource allocation policies and admin accounts.
• Support monthly patching, backups, and system upgrades.
• Interact with customers and provide daily system support.
