Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking two Java Developers to support a critical CBP initiative. Hybrid role based in Ashburn, VA, onsite 1-2 days per week. The team builds scalable Java applications with Spring and RESTful APIs for enterprise use in a federal environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to modernization efforts, and influence technical solutions while adhering to secure coding and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Java and object-oriented programming principles
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and related technologies
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-scale applications
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL
