Job summary

Leidos Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the operation, maintenance, and authorization of classified information systems.

You will implement and monitor cybersecurity requirements across the system lifecycle and coordinate remediation with security teams and customer reps. The role requires hands-on DoD RMF experience, strong documentation skills, and an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• IAT II 8140/8570 certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• Hands-on DoD RMF experience applying security controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Information System Security Officer for assigned classified information systems.
• Support the implementation, operation, maintenance, and continuous monitoring of cybersecurity controls throughout the system lifecycle.
• Apply the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework to assigned systems, including security control implementation, assessment preparation, authorization maintenance, and ongoing monitoring.
• Develop, review, and update system security documentation, including SSPs, control statements, POAMs, evidence, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate remediation actions and verify closure through rescans and evidence review.
