System One is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) at Hanscom AFB, MA, on a contract-to-hire basis. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance and extensive cyber security/IA experience, including cryptographic engineering.

You will coordinate security implementations, support A&A and RMF processes, and work with stakeholders to ensure robust information assurance and cryptographic architecture.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of cyber security or information assurance experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with cryptographic engineering architecture, requirements determination, development, and implementation.
• Experience with security systems engineering for hardware/software.
• Knowledge of IA vulnerability testing.
• Experience with NSA/CSS policies in cryptographic development and certification.
• Experience with DoD and Federal security processes.
• Strong communication skills across all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in coordinating system security implementation for development or modification of systems.
• Provide subject matter expertise to acquisitions and security documentation per DODI 8500.01 (Cybersecurity).
• Assist with system assessment and authorization (A&A) and COMSEC Certification.
• Assist in the design, development, implementation, and integration of IA/cybersecurity and cryptographic architecture.
• Serve as PMO expert on system security implementation for assigned systems, including IA protections and requirements.
• Conduct technical and nontechnical reviews and observe audits to support development and testing.
