Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to ensure cyber security and regulatory compliance for the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role requires extensive experience in cyber security, cryptographic engineering, and DoD security processes, with a Top Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cyber security or information assurance experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Current Top Secret clearance and US citizenship.
• CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or CCISO certification.
• Experience with RMF/DoD security processes.
• Experience with cryptographic development and NSA/CSS policies.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system security implementation for development or modification of systems.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to acquisitions and security documentation per DODI 8500.01 Cybersecurity.
• Assist in system assessment and authorization (A&A) and COMSEC certification.
• Assist with design, development, and integration of IA/cybersecurity and cryptographic architecture.
• Serve as PMO expert on system security implementation including IA protections.
• Conduct technical and non-technical reviews and audits to support development and test efforts.
