Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a highly technical Infrastructure Security Engineer for the Public Sector Infrastructure & Security team.

You will secure large cloud environments and review infrastructure as code to uphold high security standards across Scale's platform. Key responsibilities include implementing robust cloud security configurations, conducting regular assessments, and mentoring teammates on best practices and threats.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Proven infrastructure security experience.
• Experience securing large cloud environments and reviewing infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Secure infrastructure across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and maintain security configurations and policies for cloud environments.
• Conduct security assessments and audits of infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and improvements.
• Develop and enforce security practices for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
• Collaborate with Developer Experience, IT and product teams to integrate security across the lifecycle.
• Review and secure infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Educate and mentor team members on best practices and emerging threats.
