Job summary

Communications Technical Support Services (CTSS) seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide advanced security engineering across the system lifecycle for DoD-related programs in Columbus, OH. The role requires DoD information assurance expertise, CREST of TS clearance, and on-site collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will apply security controls, conduct risk analyses, and ensure compliance with DoD cyber policies while supporting continuous monitoring and incident response

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of IT experience with cybersecurity engineering responsibilities.
• Experience supporting federal government environments and DoD/federal contracts.
• DoD 8570/8140 CND-IS certification required and DoD baseline IAT Level III certs.
• Active Top Secret clearance with favorable NACLC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical and analytical tasks supporting information assurance and cybersecurity projects.
• Integrate processes to identify, analyze, and resolve system-level information assurance challenges.
• Analyze information security requirements to ensure compliance with DoD policies and standards.
• Apply data-driven approaches to optimize cybersecurity operations planning and workflows.
• Deliver security engineering support across the system lifecycle from planning to integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant architectures.
• Recommend and implement advanced security controls to safeguard information systems.
• Support continuous monitoring and risk management activities for secure configurations.
