Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a DevOps Architect SME to drive secure architectures and DevSecOps in support of USSTRATCOM missions. You will oversee security integration across deployment lifecycles and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align with AFNWC & J6 objectives.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred), ITIL v5 and DoD 8140 certifications, and 10+ years of related experience at Offutt AFB, NE.

Qualifications

• BS degree; may be substituted for additional years of experience.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Security Clearance: Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly and TS/SCI status.
• Required Certifications: ITIL Foundations v5 Certificate and DoD 8140 Certification within 9 Months.
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integration of security practices into all phases of application deployment.
• Design and implement secure architectures, ensuring that both systems engineering and cybersecurity are prioritized throughout the deployment and upgrade lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed security considerations from inception through delivery, aligning DevSecOps with AFNWC & J6 objectives.
