Job summary
Awetomaton seeks a DevOps Engineer to support its enterprise-grade PaaS. On-site in St. Louis, you will ensure reliable daily operations, provide Tier 3 customer/tenant support, and drive platform improvements for performance and cost efficiency.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in Kubernetes, cloud deployments (C2S GovCloud or similar), and strong automation via GitOps. A U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance are required, with October 2026 start possible.
Qualifications
- BS in Information Technology or related field
- 3+ years managing Kubernetes clusters and autoscaling
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) including IAM and load balancers
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Scripting (Python, Bash) and CI/CD tooling experience
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- On-site work in St. Louis, MO with October 2026 start window
Responsibilities
- Ensure dependable daily operation of the PaaS platform
- Provide Tier 3 level support to customers/tenants
- Evolve and improve platform components to balance performance and cost
- Automate tasks and workflows using GitOps pipelines
- Support security compliance and auditability across clusters
- Design scalable, observable systems with real-time metrics
