Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (DS) seeks a Computer Support 2/3 in Roy, Utah to join a team of cyber professionals. You will perform controlled data transfers, ensure proper security markings, and maintain logs of transfers in a classified environment.

The role requires ability to obtain a US government Top Secret clearance, familiarity with SCG/JSIG guidance, and hands-on antivirus scanning experience. Collaboration with security and program teams is essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Level 2: Associate’s degree and 0 years of relevant experience; OR High School diploma/equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience
• Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 0 years relevant experience; OR Associate's degree and 2 years relevant experience; OR High School diploma/equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience
• Must be able to obtain US Government Top Secret clearance and access to Special Access Programs
• Experience in classified environments with SCG/JSIG guidance
• Hands-on data scanning with approved antivirus tools
• Understanding Windows file transfer concepts and permissions

Responsibilities

• Execute scanning and transfer of data between classified environments per SCG and JSIG
• Verify classification, releasability, and handling caveats before data movement
• Apply antivirus procedures to data before/after transfer
• Maintain logs for transfer requests, approvals, sources, destinations, etc.
• Enforce approved tools/workflows; report unapproved methods
• Protect chain of custody for data/media; track issuance and disposition
• Elevate suspected issues to ISSO/ISSM and leadership
• Coordinate with security and program teams to resolve transfer issues
• Suggest procedural improvements for data transfer security and efficiency
