Job summary

Zen Strategics, a Titan Technologies company, seeks a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to support the Defense Logistics Agency through advanced cyber defense analysis, threat hunting, and incident response.

Applicants must hold a current DoD Top Secret clearance, a Bachelor’s degree, five years in Threat Intelligence or related fields, and three years analyzing attacker techniques. You will develop hunting strategies and build automation to counter evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligibility for IT-I/T5 security clearance.
• 5 years in Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Reverse Engineering or Digital Forensics.
• 3 years analyzing attacker techniques at all levels of attack.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Ability to turn Threat Intelligence into actionable information.

Responsibilities

• Initiate investigations to identify unusual behavior indicative of malicious activity with the assumption that a threat actor already resides within the network.
• Analyze raw log and network data and work with Threat Detection and Incident Response analysts to generate hunting leads.
• Cross-reference trends with current threat intelligence.
• Identify mitigations for key vulnerabilities identified during threat hunting and lead analysis if an APT or other compromise is identified.
• Develop threat hunting strategies to increase capabilities for finding new threats.
• Build hunting tools and automation capabilities to identify sophisticated adversaries.
• Perform incident response for critical security incidents.
