Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Systems Engineer to join an Agile IT Infrastructure team. You will perform Windows or Linux system administration, automate tasks with scripts, patch systems, and maintain networks and data storage to maximize uptime.

The role requires DoD clearance, 3+ years of IT administration, and hands-on experience with AD/GP, and hypervisors like OpenStack/Hyper-V/VMware. Excellent problem solving and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570 certification (Security+ or equivalent) is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• 3+ years of IT administration experience.
• Experience with hypervisors such as RedHat OpenStack, Hyper-V, or VMware.
• Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with RHEL 9, Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, and network equipment.
• Experience with IT security hardening and AD/GP.
