Job summary

VetJobs has a part-time security staff opening in Chantilly, VA, reporting to supervisors and patrolling Buyer's facilities to enforce access and safety policies.

Candidates must have a current Top-Secret clearance, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass background checks and a physical. Prior security experience and strong written/reporting skills are preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must hold a current Top-Secret Clearance and be eligible for SCI.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records checks.
• Must pass an employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Buyer's facilities and report security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
• Prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
