Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Configuration and Data Management Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to support mission-critical programs in Dulles, VA. This 100% onsite role requires a Top Secret clearance and strong CDM expertise in hardware configuration and data management.

You will coordinate documentation, manage configuration baselines, and drive change processes across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, ensuring compliance with program requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance (current and within scope).
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience or PhD with 1 year of professional experience.
• Knowledge of CDM principles related to hardware configuration, data and change management.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools such as SharePoint, Atlassian tools, Windchill, Enovia, or EPLM.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate project documentation: engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications.
• Review contracts to determine documentation requirements for each phase; assess impact of design changes on product and system.
• Coordinate modification records for management control and ensure alignment of documentation with engineering data control activities.
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines; implement Configuration Control Board, ECRs, TRs, and DRNs with approved changes.
• Conduct configuration audits; verify compliance with requirements and ensure drawings, specs, and reports reflect latest changes.
• Serve as program advocate; deliver CD/RL documentation to meet contractual requirements and supplier delivery needs.
• Develop solutions for complex issues and implement innovative ideas to streamline processes and maintain quality.
