Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Configuration Data Management (CDM) Section Manager who will split time between section leadership and program responsibilities. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, and the candidate will contribute to configuration management and systems engineering across all program phases.

The position offers a clear path for staff development, process improvement, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 12+ years of experience in Configuration Data Management, Software Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, or other relevant experience OR
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Configuration Data Management, Software Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, or other relevant experience OR
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in Configuration Data Management, Software Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, or other relevant experience OR
• PhD with 4+ years of experience in Configuration Data Management, Software Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, or other relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams or project management
• Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with a SSBI completed within the last 5 years, and ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access

Responsibilities

• Perform resource planning and staffing; staff development, including skills training and career support; and performance management.
• Deployment, measurement, and improvement of tailored processes and procedures and supporting product cost reduction strategies.
• Work with programs to review, assess, and implement requirements.
• Section Manager should have domain expertise in CDM, SCM, or Systems Engineering, and experience through all program phases.
