Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a CVOR RN for the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT. The role is an onsite 26-week contract starting 9/28/2026 with Day Shift 12 hours/day and rotating 07:30 AM - 08:00 PM coverage; 3 days/week, with on-call requirements.

Requirements include BLS, CNOR preferred, prior travel experience, SCRUB HEARTS, EPICEMR experience, and a minimum of 2 years OR RN experience in a large academic hospital.

Qualifications

• BLS required; CNOR preferred.
• Prior travel experience is required.
• SCRUB HEARTS is required.
• Minimum 2 years OR RN experience with recent CVOR/Open Heart competency.
• Experience in a large academic teaching hospital.
• May float to other OR suites; will circulate when floated.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• CVOR RN with 12-hour day shifts and on-call requirements.
• Floating to OR suites (General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc.) when needed.
• Circulating during cases, not always scrubbing.
• Provide care in a high-volume CVOR setting at a major academic hospital.
