Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician in Anderson, IN for a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. This role offers flat-rate pay and a strong focus on diagnostics and quality repairs.

Bring expertise in electrical/drivability diagnostics, the ability to diagnose and repair multiple automotive systems, and your own tools. Earn $85,000–$130,000+ per year with weekly pay and opportunities for ASE training.

Qualifications

• A-Level Automotive Technician experience preferred, or High-Level B-Level Technician with strong diagnostic ability.
• Experience performing electrical and drivability diagnostics.
• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple automotive systems.
• Own a personal set of automotive tools.
• ASE Certifications preferred, or willingness to earn them.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics.
• Complete accurate, high-quality repairs in a timely manner.
• Utilize modern diagnostic equipment and shop software to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Document repairs and communicate effectively with the team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
