Gilder Search Group seeks an A-Level Automotive Technician in Kokomo, IN, to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on newer makes and models, including some European vehicles. The role offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

schedule and a salary range of $80,000–$85,000 per year. Candidates should have 5+ years of repair experience with strong diagnostic skills, the ability to interpret codes, DVIs, and work across many brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience diagnosing drivability concerns and root causes.
• Ability to read and interpret diagnostic codes and test results.
• Experience working across multiple makes and models.
• Ability to complete repairs from diagnosis to final repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on newer makes and models.
• Diagnose drivability concerns and identify root causes.
• Read and interpret diagnostic codes and test results.
• Complete repairs from diagnosis through final repair.
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs).
• Document diagnostic findings and recommended repairs.
• Maintain productivity while delivering quality repairs.
• Communicate repair findings with the service team.
