Job summary

US3069 Sygma Portland (The Sygma Network, Inc) is seeking a delivery driver to transport product from the warehouse to customer locations, operating a tractor-trailer unit safely and efficiently in accordance with invoices and company standards.

This role emphasizes customer service, on-time delivery, and adherence to safety protocols. The position offers paid training, extensive benefits, a 36-hour route expectation on many legs, and opportunities to grow within Sysco’s network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year tractor trailer driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, per customer specs and company standards.
• Complete all required paperwork per DOT and company guidelines and submit timely.
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
• fulfill other duties as assigned by management.
