Job summary

SYGMA Portland Team is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport product from the warehouse via tractor trailer to customers, loading/unloading, and delivering with accuracy and safety. Routes are dedicated, with evening dispatch and consistent pay cycles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, down ramps/docks according to specifications.
• Ensure paperwork (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports) is accurate and submitted timely.
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in truck and warehouse areas.
• Build strong relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
