Job summary

Sysco is looking for a delivery driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customers using a tractor-trailer. You will deliver, unload, and ensure accuracy of invoices and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, completing required paperwork, and providing excellent customer service across routes. This role requires a Class A CDL and insurability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English related to job and safety.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart per customer specs.
• Complete paperwork per company and government guidelines (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices).
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Build relationships with customers through excellent and courteous service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
