Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a full-time Cashier to assist customers at the checkout and uphold our brand standards with the team. Responsibilities include greeting customers, completing transactions, and promoting Protection Plans and store credit where eligible.

You will also help with store tasks, support pricing changes, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. The role requires flexibility for weekends/holidays and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or cash handling preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
• Promote Protection Plan and store credit where eligible and receive incentives for sales.
• Assist the team with stocking, price changes, and other tasks to serve customers better.
