Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to assist customers at checkout with a positive, professional attitude and a focus on delivering a high-brand, high-execution experience. You’ll greet customers, handle transactions, and promote protection plans and credit options to help customers get in and out quickly.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility to work some weekends/holidays, and a passion for tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales or cashier experience preferred but not required.
• Flexible weekend/holiday availability.
• Love of tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all customers as they enter the store and insuring they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
• Completing all transactions quickly and accurately.
• Offering our Protection Plan on all eligible products and offering our credit card on all customer transactions! (Incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards).
• Being a Team Player by helping put away product, execute price changes, or other tasks that may help your team better serve our customers.
