Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to assist customers at the checkout, delivering a friendly, efficient experience and upholding our brand standards. You will greet customers, complete transactions, and promote protection plans and credit cards where eligible.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required; you should be comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs and enjoy working in a tools-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Retail cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and a service-focused mindset.
• Love of tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all customers as they enter the store and ensuring they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
• Completing all transactions quickly and accurately.
• Offering our Protection Plan on eligible products and our credit card on customer transactions.
• Being a team player by helping put away product, adjust prices, or other tasks to serve customers better.
