You will own merchandising, inventory, sales performance, and customer service while developing a knowledgeable department team to help homeowners, contractors, and DIY enthusiasts.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of tools, hardware, plumbing, electrical, and home improvement products.
• Commitment to helping customers find solutions and complete projects.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate department team members.

• Proficient problem-solving to identify practical solutions for customers.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising and presentation of tools, hardware, plumbing, and electrical products.
• Coordinate new merchandise placement and department layout.
• Maintain accurate inventory and strong in-stock conditions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist product selection.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
• Collaborate with Retail Buyers on inventory needs and opportunities.
• Train and mentor department team members.
• Monitor pricing, signage, merchandising standards, and department appearance.
• Ensure safe handling and display of merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked department and support store operations.
