Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Tools, Fasteners and Safety Specialist to assist in selling and sourcing for end-user contractors and industrial customers. You will engage internal teams to stock, promote, and sell TFS products, relying on strong analytical and computer skills.

The role requires knowledge of tools, fasteners, and safety products as a preference, and working knowledge of MS Office and Eclipse ERP is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Tools, Fasteners and Safety products is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have good analytical and computer skills including MS Office.
• Working knowledge of Eclipse ERP preferred, but not required (Training offered).

Responsibilities

Tools, Fastener and Safety Specialist

Responsibilities:

Strong interpersonal, analytical (computer) skills to help support selling and sourcing products for end-user contractors and industrial customers. While Tools, Fasteners and Safety product knowledge is preferred, it's not necessary. The ability to engage associates across Capital Electric to support activities related to stocking, promoting and selling TFS is critical to the success of the TFS Specialist.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Tools, Fasteners and Safety products preferred, not required.
• Ability to work independently
• Must have good analytical and computer skills including mastery of MS Office software
• Working knowledge of Eclipse ERP preferred, but not required (Training offered)
• Ability to communicate and present effectively with / to counter, inside and outside salespeople, vendors, purchasing, marketing in a professional manner
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
