The AppleCare Field Service Diagnostics Engineering team is seeking candidates with strong experience building automation frameworks and tools to validate diagnostic and repair tools used to service Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and Apple Vision Pro. This position requires a passionate and self‑motivated individual with excellent cross‑functional communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to adjust to rapid change. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, eager to deep‑dive into technical areas, and inclined to explore and integrate AI initiatives into existing processes.
In this role you’ll be responsible for the team’s overall automation strategy — from idea to fully built solution. This will involve working with teams all across Apple. You will expand the team’s automation frameworks, build new tools, set up monitoring systems, and be responsible for ensuring the team is fully ready to test the latest generation of Apple products while maintaining the high quality of our existing diagnostic and repair systems.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
