Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Toolroom Supervisor to direct tooling maintenance and staff, ensuring production objectives are met with cost efficiency and quality. You will lead maintenance, coordinate repairs, and drive continuous improvements in tool processes within a compliant environment.

The role requires an Associate degree or technical/business background and at least five years in a tool room, with strong communication and ERP data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a tool room environment.
• Associate degree in a business or technical field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the toolroom to complete planned and unplanned maintenance requests.
• Communicate status of tools in repair to production and planning.
• Improve preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Ensure production schedule attainment and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain quality and safety by enforcing standards.
• Lead staff through metrics, accountability meetings, and coaching.
• Drive process improvements in quality, delivery, inventory, and safety.
• Ensure work instructions, setup sheets, and checklists are used.
• Enter production data into the ERP system promptly.
• Support the Quality System and ISO/medical device requirements.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
