Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Toolroom Supervisor to direct tooling maintenance, repairs, and staff to meet production goals with quality and cost controls. This role drives improvements in tool maintenance methods and ensures a safe, compliant environment.

You will lead the toolroom to complete maintenance, communicate tool status, and pursue preventative maintenance improvements to minimize downtime while supporting production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a business or technical field.
• 5 years of experience working in a tool room environment.
• Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the toolroom to complete planned and unplanned maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate to production and planning partners the status of tools in repair.
• Look for opportunities to improve preventative maintenance schedules and reduce unplanned downtime on tools.
• Ensure the production schedule is attained and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain quality and safety by establishing and enforcing standards.
• Lead project management activities and teams.
• Drive process improvements in quality, delivery, inventory, and safety procedures.
• Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis.
