Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Toolroom Planner to develop long-range production schedules based on customer requirements, capacity, and priorities. You will work with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing and other teams to monitor plans, manage materials, and ensure timely delivery.

This role directly impacts delivery performance, inventory management, and overall business efficiency by balancing demand with capacity and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a scheduling, planning, or project management role.
• Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results.
• Ability to follow through on commitments and holds team members accountable.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules in ERP system to meet customer delivery requirements and maximize operational efficiency.
• Balance production and inventory levels with demand to support customer service levels, inventory turn goals, and capacity utilization requirements.
• Maintain capacity planning.
• Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Partner with sales and customer service on incoming orders and customer priorities.
• Monitor production and shipping performance and pro-actively initiates actions to ensure delivery commitments are fulfilled.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standards.
• Participate in required company meetings.
• Maintain an organized work area (5S).
• Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.
