• Checks incoming shipments against receiving reports; reports overages, shortages, or damaged items.
• Maintains stock at prescribed levels and reorders to maintain adequate stock.
• Conducts periodic inventory; identifies discrepancies and notifies supervisor.
• Accounts for merchandise in stock and issues supplies to shop personnel; tracks return and checks for damage.
• Maintains hazardous material storage and tool room cleanliness; observes safety regulations.
