Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support NIWC-LANT CSRR ISEA and related warehouse operations. You will verify material receipt, update counts, and coordinate movements to maintain accurate asset records.

The role requires 6 months to 2 years in logistics, the ability to lift 20 lbs, and proficiency with enterprise inventory systems. You’ll work with repair status updates and disposition actions to ensure timely, compliant processing.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of logistics/supply chain experience.
• Able to lift 20 lbs.
• Knowledge of warehouse receiving, storage, inventory, issue, and accountability.
• Experience using enterprise inventory systems to process transactions.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and document resolutions.
• Understand inventory-management policies and retention requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to NIWC-LANT CSRR ISEA and related warehouse operations.
• Perform QA and inventory-control activities to maintain accurate records.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in incoming materials, shipping, and inventory.
• Validate material identification, quantities, condition, and stock status.
• Prepare receipt and discrepancy documentation; conduct inventories as scheduled or unscheduled.
• Process inventory transactions and maintain asset status, location, and disposal records.
