Job summary

This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department in the Navy Region Southwest. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, signing in and out of various tools, equipment, and repair parts, and maintaining stock records at NASNI Auto Skills Center in Naval Base Coronado, CA.

Candidates should have at least six months of related maintenance shop experience, knowledge of tools and machinery, and the ability to identify suitable equipment, set up storage, and maintain

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, sign in and sign out of tools, equipment and repair parts.
• Maintain stock records for accountability and traceability.
• Identify and select appropriate tools, equipment and machinery for tasks.
• Set up storage locations considering item size, weight and nomenclature.
• Perform minor repairs to equipment when needed.
