Job summary

V2X Inc in the United States defense sector seeks a toolroom technician to maintain tool inventories, manage TMDE/PMEL accounts, and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, and a valid driver's license; you will work in an aircraft hangar environment, performing inspections, labeling, storage, and routine maintenance to support mission readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level security clearance.
• Must hold a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Recent experience with toolroom/HAZMAT duties in aeronautics recommended.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools and equipment for serviceability and functionality.
• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on assigned tools.
• Manage TMDE/PMEL accounts and coordinate with PMEL for calibration requirements.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and cleanliness of the tool room.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Update SDS binders and monitor hazardous materials inventory.
