Frasal Tool Co in Newington, CT is seeking a Toolmaker/Precision Machinist to independently manufacture and assemble precision tooling from start to finish while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Management, and other Machinists.

This full-time, permanent role requires a minimum of five years of metalworking/toolmaking experience, strong proficiency with manual milling and turning, GD&T and blueprint reading, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency setting up and operating manual milling and turning equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to work independently from print to completed part.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and operation sheets.
• Set up and operate manual and toolroom CNC equipment, including Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, surface grinders, OD grinders, band saws, arbor presses, and ProtoTRAK mills/lathes.
• Machine and assemble parts to print specifications.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and related equipment.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and other team members.
• Troubleshoot machining and assembly challenges and determine practical solutions.

Pay: $36–$43/hour, based on experience

This is NOT an entry-level position. A minimum of 5 years of metalworking/toolmaking experience is required.

The Role

As a Toolmaker/Precision Machinist, you will independently manufacture and assemble precision tooling from start to finish while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Management, and other Machinists.
