Frasal Tool Co is seeking a skilled Toolmaker/Precision Machinist in Newington, CT. You will independently manufacture and assemble precision tooling from start to finish while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Management to meet exact specifications.

The role requires at least 5 years in metalworking/toolmaking, strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and the ability to work from print to finished part with precision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and operation sheets.
• Set up and operate manual and toolroom CNC equipment (Bridgeport mills, lathes, surface grinders, OD grinders, ProtoTRAK).
• Machine and assemble parts to print specifications.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and other team members.

The Role

As a Toolmaker/Precision Machinist, you will independently manufacture and assemble precision tooling from start to finish while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Management, and other Machinists.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and operation sheets.
  
• Set up and operate manual and toolroom CNC equipment, including Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, surface grinders, OD grinders, band saws, arbor presses, and ProtoTRAK mills/lathes.
  
• Machine and assemble parts to print specifications.

• Apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  
• Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and other team members.
