Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Journeyman's card in Tool and Die or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Make and re-grind tooling to close tolerances used on machines; rework gauges and gauge plugs.
• Check vendor tooling on a limited basis; repair fixtures, jigs and tools using complex prints.
• Interface with engineering; troubleshoot on the shop floor; requisition supplies.
• Work independently; select materials, standards and methods.
• Train others, assign work; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Maintain highest quality, safety, cost reduction and customer service.
• Perform these duties and other tasks as requested.
