Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is hiring for a tool and die focused role in the United States. You will learn the tool and die trade, operate a range of equipment including lathes, CNC machines, milling machines, grinders, and heat treating furnaces, and assist in fabricating dies and replacement parts.

You will interpret drawings and blueprints, complete job cards and inspection logs, and contribute to safety and quality across production teams.

Qualifications

• High school education with one year machine shop experience.
• Associate degree in tool & die or mold making preferred with six months on-the-job experience in machine shop functions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and interpret verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
• Set up and operate tool room machines including lathes, milling machines, drill press, band saw, CNC machines, and grinders.
• Learns to handle machinist's hand tools and precision measuring devices.
• Operate heat treating furnaces.
• Fabricate new or replacement parts for dies or machines.
• Support other tool makers as required.
• Produce prototype parts as required.
• Learns fabrication and troubleshooting of all production machines and stamping dies.
• Complete paperwork including job cards, inspection reports, logs, etc.
• Keep work area neat, clean, organized, and under control.
• Be responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance with all company procedures and policies.
