General Motors is seeking qualified Mechanical Journeypersons (Toolmaker) to work on automated and manual systems in a high-demand manufacturing setting. You will diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components on conveyors, robots, and other automation, while adhering to safety standards and procedures.

The role requires6+ years in a mechanical trade or a U.S. DOL Toolmaker certificate, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to work flexible shifts including overtime.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in a mechanical trade (Toolmaker) or U.S. DOL certificate.
• Must complete GM hiring process incl. assessments, drug test, background check.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including overtime, days/nights/weekends.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components on industrial machinery.
• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems.
