Job summary

Medtronic, based in Dexter, Michigan, seeks a Toolmaker II to design, repair, and maintain production tooling and equipment. The role supports manufacturing operations with precision machining, tooling support, and continuous improvement activities on first shifts.

The position requires 1+ year of tooling experience, ability to interpret drawings, and setup of manual and CNC machines. Welding is a plus, TRK programming is desirable, and safety is a core priority.

Qualifications

This position is based in Dexter, Michigan and plays a critical role in ensuring manufacturing processes operate safely, efficiently, and to quality standards through precision machining, tooling support, and continuous improvement activities.Tool Maker II is an experienced skilled trade position responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and modification of production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
