Job summary

Campbell Fittings, part of the Ideal Tridon Group, seeks a skilled Toolmaker for its Boyertown, PA plant on 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM). You will fabricate tooling and fixtures, read drawings, and use CNC and manual machines to support tooling manufacturing and repairs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in toolmaking and manufacturing, strong problem‑solving, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a busy open-floor environment both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of working in a manufacturing environment required.
• 5+ years of toolmaking experience required.
• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and ask for help when needed.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Comfortable in a busy open-floor environment and in a team or individual setting.

Responsibilities

• Use micrometers, rules, dial calipers, dial indicators, squares, protractors, levels and hand tools to perform tasks.
• Read and interpret drawings; operate CNC and manual milling machines, lathes, welders, grinders, drill presses to make tooling and parts.
• Design, modify and evaluate tooling, fixtures, and machinery for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair equipment.
• Set up and operate equipment; maintain gages and measuring instruments.
• Ensure safe operation and report unsafe conditions to Plant Manager.
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors, engineering staff, and Production Control.
• Maintain tool carts and shop cleanliness; follow PPE requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
