Job summary

Ideal Tridon Campbell Fittings Boyertown Plant is seeking a Toolmaker to join our manufacturing team in Boyertown, PA. You will read drawings, set up CNC and manual milling machines and lathes, and fabricate or repair tooling, fixtures and guards to support production.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of toolmaking experience in a plant environment, excellent mechanical skills, and strong communication. Work is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of working in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of toolmaking experience.
• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and ask for help when needed.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• Comfortable in a busy open-floor environment.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Use micrometers, rules, dial calipers, dial indicators, squares, protractors, levels, and various hand tools to perform tasks.
• Read and interpret drawings and operate CNC and manual milling machines, lathes, welders, grinders, drill presses, and other equipment to fabricate or modify tooling and fixtures.
• Design, modify and evaluate tooling, fixtures, and machinery for efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair equipment.
• Maintain, inspect, and adjust gauges and measuring instruments.
