Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Tooling Technician to ensure tooling meets process expectations in our stamping facility. The role demands manual dexterity, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include setting up machinetools, mounting and measuring tooling, and testing tools with dies, fixtures or jigs. A trade certification and 5 years of related experience are preferred, with a 3-shift operation and potential

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Trade certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work 3-shift model (Midnights, Days, Afternoons).

Responsibilities

• Compute dimensions and tolerances to set up machinetools.
• Position, secure, measure and lay out metal stock for machining.
• Assemble/disassemble parts to test tools, dies, jigs or fixtures.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure tool specifications.
• Analyze repairs and adjustments to formulate solutions.
