Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Tooling Maintenance Technician in Cheraw, SC. You will provide operational maintenance for tools in production, perform repairs, and inspect for wear per technical drawings.

You will document work and maintain logs, contributing to efficient tooling operations. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years building tooling, and experience with grinding machines and presses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• “Technical degree/certificate” in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tool & Die, Machining or related field is desirable.
• At least 3 years’ experience building tooling.
• At least 3 years’ experience with grinding machines and knowledge of transfer and progressive presses.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and read instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational maintenance for tools used in production.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on tools and related equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble tools and components per drawings and specifications.
• Inspect tools for wear/damage and perform quality checks.
• Maintain maintenance and repair logs and document completed work.
